New Years Meetup?

Hi everyone! I'm coming to New York on Saturday, and staying through Monday. I'm planning to do Times Square for New Years Eve, but I'm going to be around for the better part of three days. I'd love to get together with people, even if it's only to meet up for coffee. OR, even better, maybe we could gather a group of us to meet at Times Square together for Sunday night. I'm also trying to get rush tickets for RENT on Sunday afternoon. For anyone going to be in the NYC area, are you interested in any of these things?
I'm going to be staying at
singlewoman 's house in New Jersey, but we're going to be in the city quite a bit. I hope some people have the time to meet up. Doesn't have to be anything big or fancy. I just miss people, and would love to hang out. New Years Eve antics would be even better. Any takers?

Date: 2006-12-29 01:24 pm (UTC)We had gone to see Phantom of the OPera about 2 blocks from Times Square, thinking we would just wander over for the big show. We ended up back at our hotel, across from Carnegie Hall. That section of street was already blocked off, but they had to let us through since we were staying there. The upside was that, since we were midway between Times Square and Central Park, we had a great view of both sets of fireworks.
Hope you have a great time!

Date: 2007-01-15 04:25 am (UTC)Anyhow, it was lovely to encounter you amongst the other carbon-based life forms at Arisia this weekend. And yes, you really ought to do Daniel Jackson for a costume next time. It would look awesome!
And thanks for the compliment! I'm still positively wibbling and squeeing over this. I had so much fun with it.
:D
