Okay, I did it.  I took the plunge, typed in my debit card number, and finally registered.  I've been holding off on doing in just in case I couldn't go for whatever reason, but I couldn't hold off any longer.

I got the general registration, and added the Halloween Ball.  I didn't sign up for Professional Quidditch because it would cut right through the H/D Roundtable discussion (and I'm SO excited about that!!!), and because it would effectively take up the entire day on Saturday.  I'm still thinking about it though.  I WANT to do it.  ARGH!  What should I do?

I also want to know what events other people are attending, such as the luncheons and fancy dinners.  They're SO expensive, but I want to go to things that other people are attending.  *wibble*  If any of you are going, let me know which events you'll be at.

Anyhow, I'm very excited, and all keyed up.  I hope to see lots of you there!  SQUEE!  *is silly right now*

Everyone seems to be gearing up for TWH and I'm starting to feel jealous and left out. But there's no way I can make it back to the US before mid-November, and then it'll be for a family wedding and other such obligations. Oh well, those of us who can't make it will just have to rely on the lucky few - like you - to make it real for us. Enjoy!

i'm going and i'm going to just about every extra thing you have to pay for (with the exception of tea w/trelawny, which was sold out, and quidditch, because, so not my thing). and yes, the dinners are expensive, but since i am coming from nz, and the plane tickets alone cost about $1500USD, another $180 or something didn't seem like much to worry about. besides, i'd have to buy food anyway, so this way i get to see the guests speak andeat good food.

there is just so much to do, i hate the no matter what one choses you'll have to miss out on something else [*wibble*]

Hmmm... see, all I'm spending is the amount for the initial ticket, and the Halloween thingy, and the money for gas to drive there. The extra money for the luncheons is a lot, but I'm not sure which I should go to, IF I decide to go to one of them. And you're right... just LOOK at the schedule. There's a TON to do!

Oh! And I had forgotten to e-mail you! About that possible favor! Are you sure there's no chance I can get you on instant messanger? This might take a bit of detailed explaining. It's a piece of art for a rather climactic scene... and I don't think anyone else could get this one quite right. Red_rahl is doing a piece for another scene, because she does an awesome job with rough, angsty emotions... but you're the absolute master of intimate, sweet emotional stuff... can you log onto Y!M ?

I so totally splurged and bought tickets to all the special events except Tea with Trelawney (which was already sold out) and Sirens, Furies, and Heroes (cause I've this thing about feminism). As for the rest of the programming, I'm a total dork and as soon as I got a hold of the master schedule, I created my own. I can be scary sometimes... You're welcome to see it if you want ;)

Oh! And have you seen this? Your art is in a book! Hee.

I'd love to see your schedule! I wanted to print out the Master Schedule so I could make my selections and highlight on the block scheduling, but my computer wouldn't download it. Grrr.

And yes, I saw it! Someone else linked me to emmagrant's LJ entry. I think it's pretty cool. Now, I just want my own fic in a book! *whimper-pout*

And I hope Sherant will be willing to draw one particular scene. I need to e-mail her. I'm... er... a little nervous about asking her for a pic.

oo im so jealous, yet excited for you. that is so cool! wat i'd do to go. its up there with me wanting to go to the FIFA world cup in germany next year. id take that over the commonwelth games anyday! sigh... itd be nice to go to salem and meet hp people, especially h/d ones! and the events sound awsome! i mean the H/D rountable discussion is wicked! have heaps and heaps of fun!

And maybe you can come to the next HP fandom event! Don't worry, you'll get to one eventually. The only reason I can afford this one is because it's within easy driving distance (one hour drive), and I had a friend offer for me to share her hotel room. Otherwise, I could never afford it.
