Fandom Poll - all ticky boxes, all the time.

As many of you have noticed, a lot of us that came in under the same fandoms have drifted over time. That's normal, especially as fandoms shift, canons close, and people move on. I'm just curious though - what fandoms do you now claim as home? I'm kinda curious to see where my friends have found themselves in their fandom lives. So... a poll![Poll #1471249][Poll #1471249]

Heh, this is my last NCIS icon left before I would have had to break out the Tiva ones don't hate me!.

I know Tony/Ziva and Gibbs/Tony seem to be the major ships in this fandom, but while I like Tony/Ziva and McGee/Abby I'm not really into any of the Gibbs/other team member ships. Which kind of limits my shipping options, huh?

Eh, I'm still very much a newbie in NCIS fandom, though. Maybe they'll grow on me. I tend to attach to het ships first before branching out to slash. I was the same way with HP.

I'm not really a fan of the Gibbs ships at all, not even the canon ones, though I do think it's funny that you can ship everyone on the show with everyone else without having to do interpretive somersaults.

With Gibbs, he's such a father figure for the other team members that shipping him with them seems vaguely incestuous, at least for me. Gibbs/Jenny or Gibbs/Ducky, I can take or leave.

You're right! The subtext is there for pretty much all of the possible pairings. I just happen to like the Tony/Ziva, McGee/Abby, and McGee/Tony dynamic best so far.

Some of the somersaults in HP are...intriguing, I have to admit!

Oh, I don't ship any of the canon ships in HP. I prefer the somersaults to the reality, though I have no slash goggles, so things like H/D just make me scratch my head.

*giggles* We so have! I'm sure she'll tell us to take it outside if it bothers her, though!

Canon-wise, I only ship Ron/Hermione, Bill/Fleur, and Frank/Alice, but not hardcore. My OTP is actually Neville/Ginny, which requires no somersaulting at all, although in truth I'll read Neville/Anyone, het or slash. I don't have automatic slash goggles, either. Slash pairings have to grow on me.

I like Neville. He's the most normal, ordinary guy in the whole series and thus kind of lovable. I must respectfully disagree with the Ron/Hermione thing, though, despite its being the most canon of all. I just don't get it.

Mann will be introduced in later seasons (or possibly, past seasons, if you're starting with this one). She's a Gibbs ship.
