Er... colour!

And then, there was colour!  And the gods of anime looked upon it, and decreed that it was good. 
Or, at least, I hope it is!  There was so much more I wanted to do, but I did the entire colour-job using just the touch-pad on the laptop.  I NEED a damn mouse!  But, I think it'll do for now.

Oh my GOODNESS! The COLOR! That looks great. I love the way that Yuuri's blush came out. And the pale look to Murata makes him look so innocent. And I still just love his eyes. :D :D :D

No no!! Not Harry! That's my new OTP from my new fandom, Kyou Kara Maou. The characters are both 15 year old boys, namely, Yuuri (no glasses) and Murata (glasses). Has nothing to do with Harry Potter. But... pretty boys! You should check it out! Yesh! Bear in mind, this is coming from someone who had absolutely NO interest in anime until VERY recently, when I stumbled on this series. It's SO much fun. Really. You should try it!

Hmmm... I had a friend who used to do a lot of dragons and gryffins, but I haven't talked to her in a while. I'll have to go hunting for her screen name and website. Beyond that, I really don't know. Do you mean, D&D style wizardry stuff? I can look around, but I have no idea what to look for.

Basically what I want is for the tattoo I mentioned. It's going to be a memorial piece for my parents. The basic concept is of a wizard or dragon holding onto a crystal ball which is showing my parents' tombstone. The ball has to be big enough because it will show the lighthouse on the stone. The tattoo will prolly cover my entire upper arm and unto my shoulder if needed so size is no issue. The lighthouse is imperative for it shows my father's love and water and lighthouses. The "item" holding the ball doesnt specifically have to be either, but definitely one of them. In other words, my mom loved statues of wizards and dragons and my dad loved lighthouses, so I wish to combine the two - in some way, shape, or form - to create a memorial piece. I dont want anything dark/mean/agressive. On the contrary, I want something peaceful and protective. Something that gives the aura of being guarded/cared for. Make sense?
How've I been? That's best answered through phone conversation because of everything that's been happening at home. Maybe on a weekend, you could give me your new # and we'll talk.
I appreciate the links, if you think of anything. It's prolly going to be in black and white, only because of the tombstone and crystal ball looking better in grey. Any more questions, you know where to find me. Thanks for the help.

As I said, I don't read a lot of PG-13 (in fact, I can't even remember why I started reading Eclipse, only that it really hooked me right away). So I just don't know.

The plottiest best NC-17 H/D I've read in the past few months was probably Walking the Line by SilentAuror, but I'm betting you read that already?

Actually, I haven't read "Walking the Line." To be honest, I haven't read much fic in the past several months. The fucked up housemate situation I was in for a while kept me distracted from the fandom and all the things I always loved, so I didn't do much reading. And for the months before that, I was so busy trying to get my life settled and my new career underway that I just found myself too busy to read anything but the occasional one-shot.

So... looks like I have something new to read! :D

Hehehe! Usually, people notice me for my fanfiction, not my fanart. That's so funny. And if I may point out... this is only my SECOND piece of anime art ever, the first being just a couple of posts earlier than this one, where I was just doing practice sketches.

But... as for bribes... I'll have to think about that. I mean, there are only a few people on the web who write fanfic so impressive that it would be worthy of bribing me. I write pretty decent quality stuff myself (do you like Harry/Draco?), so I'm picky about what I read. However... I might be convinced to do some art... if the scene clicks in my mind. :)

What kind of art were you considering?
