New Cat! Now, we need a name.

So, fiona_fawkes and I went to our Solstice/Yule gathering last night. Somebody had rescued a mother cat and a litter of kittens that had been abandoned. The cats were obviously abandoned, not feral. Anyway, four of the kittens were brought to the gathering in an attempt to find new homes for them.

Fi has always said that we can't get a cat. She's allergic, and while she likes cats, it's just not worth it to need to be on allergy meds all the time. Plus, we've got a dog.

Anyway, as soon as the kittens came out, I had to hold out. I picked up this grey tabby with beautiful markings around her eyes. She was so sweet. Cuddly. Calm. Affectionate. And then I handed the cat to Fi.

So... we've got a cat now. And we're debating names. Please vote in the poll, and leave comments as appropriate. (Or, conversely, inappropriate.)

I have a land tortoise named after me. My little cousin named her after me when she was seven; my cousin is 48 now and the tortoise is still going strong. I'm afraid that Alicia will long outlive me. ;)
