Final Wand Business Name Poll
Jun. 18th, 2007 11:44 pmOkay, with much feedback, both on and off the journal, here's what I've got...
I'm definitely going to use the catch phrase "Got Wood?" as a tag line. it won't be the main business name, but I'll definitely use it. In fact, I'm probably going to do two-sided business cards with the phrase "Got wood?" written on an otherwise blank back of the card.
Now, the list of possibilities for the actual name:
Earthwood Wands
Greenwood Wands
Wands of the Wyrd
Woods of the Wyrd
Wyrdwood Wands
Phoenixwood Wands
You can see the theme I'm playing right now. Do you have any other similar suggestions? Do any of these stand out? Gah, I hate picking names and titles. Help?

I must agree with the person who said they'd respect a business that didn't "dumb down" to buyers, because while not *everyone* interested in a wand would be familiar with the term "wyrd," I don't think it's as unusual (especially once you enter the pagan community which is a huge client base for you) as some people may think.
I'm still running ideas through my head, and if I come up with anything new, I'll email you. Also, if you ARE interested in putting any wands for sale through the consignment site I started, let me know right away. If we can get it together and even get one of them up there before you leave, then you could also put the website on your cards, which lends credibility to any business. :)
