Everything in Ten Minutes

mijanOkay, I'm going to give a summary of what I've been up to in whatever I can type in about ten minutes. A TON of stuff has happened, but I'm DEAD TIRED. Here goes...
Just finished watching the last episode of the Kyou Kara Maou series, and it was PERFECT. The ending was just right. You know that warm, wibbly feeling you get when something just hits all the right notes? That was it. Damn it, people, WATCH IT! If you like Harry/Draco, if you like crackfic, if you like twisted plots, and even some touching moments, all interspersed with magic and action and an awkward, unlikely boy-hero, then WATCH IT! *cough*
Last night, I went to a Bardic Circle to which I had been invited byrourkie, and I had a wonderful time. Must do that again. Must bring an instrument of my own. Wish I could wheel a piano into the hall. Might make do with a keyboard. Either way, great people, great hot cider, fun music, and Rourkie plays guitar very well. Oh, and he writes music too, and he wrote one song in particular that I adored. :D
On a similar thread... I might get pulled into doing a LARP. Yes, me, who has avoided getting sucked into online RP's... is interested in doing a Live Action Role Play. Hey, the people seem awesome, and... there's this character I've always wanted to play... *meep*
Work = INSANE. Got a promotion, doing twice as much stuff, more responsibility, and running some major lab-wide events. Doing mad-crazy hours. Brain = oatmeal. Mijan = exhausted. Income = not nearly enough for the work I do. Heh. It's nice to be appreciated. At least I've got job security, because right now, there's nobody else who could do my job.
Still excited over my costume awards for participating in the Masquerade at Arisia. Definitely joining the Northern Lights Costuming Guild. Going to do Frodo next time. Have great idea for a skit for the next Masquerade, and the awesome people I met from Northern Lights like it. Squee!
Fic. Eclipse Sequel. "Convergence". Yes, I know, I know. I need to finish and post the first bloody chapter. It's almost done. I swear.
Original novel... I'm more determined to write it now than ever. MUST. WRITE.
Going to the Fetish Flea this weekend in Danvers. For those of you who went, that's the same hotel that most people stayed in for the Witching Hour. Yay for a weekend of whips and chains, floggers and canes, corsets fishnets and handcuffs, oh my! Very excited. Must buy a collar for...
Oh yeah! And the most important thing... I'm officially dating someone now!fiona_fawkes and I met in person at Lumos, and we spent WAY too much time on the phone, and she finally came out here last weekend, and... er... well... I guess it's official! Very excited. *snogs her madly* She's so awesome.
And... that's my ten minutes! I guess it's bedtime! Because... er... I've got another insanely long day of work tomorrow. Andmiraba, if you're reading this... I might not be able to make it to class tomorrow night. It's the Oncology department's holiday party. I know, it's January, but they decided to hold it after the holiday rush. I'll be in touch tomorrow.
