So allegedly I went from an Aries to a Pisces but...you can't just go from a fire sign to a water sign. I'm such an Aries that people I meet who are into this stuff can tell within an hour of talking to me.

Yeah, there's a so-called new system as they readjusted the signs based on the precession of the earth's axis. The only positive development from this? Chris Pine is a Leo now, not just an August Virgo. I shouldn't care about that at all, but I find it highly entertaining.

August 14th. Half of my family has birthdays or anniversaries in August. The 2nd, the 12th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 26th... it's a busy month.

I'm the 12th. My grandmother was the 6th. But other than that, no other August birthdays in my family. My grandmother was kinda awesome. :D

I'm still a Taurus, though I believe I read somewhere that it's only people after 1990 who are supposedly affected. Well, a Taurus born in the yr of the rat, which is funny 'cause some chinese zodiac mythology has the rat riding the bull.

Apparently I (and new!Kirk) were Capricorns, but now we're Sagittarius. Which makes sense for him, but not me. But I don't believe in astrology anyway.

My wife was a Capricorn/Aquarius cusp, and is now allegedly an Aquarius/Pisces. Either way, her birthday is the same as Bones and Deforest Kelly. :D

Funny thing-- I was a Virgo, and now I'm supposed to be a Leo. I do feel more like a Leo than a Virgo, though...

But...I've had Ophiuchus and Serpens tattooed on me for years. I'm pretty pleased that it was added to the Zodiac, but I wish that my sign had become the Serpent Holder.

(Snake obsessed. I've also got Jormungandr the Midgard Serpent tattooed on me, as well as several others, and I'm thinking about a Medusa piece, and maybe a Laocoön.)
