I was watching Discovery Channel's new mini-series on the Iditarod last night and I had to suppress a physical twitch when she made an appearance in it. raithea77 and I just looked at each other and shook our heads.

(And yeah, I'm not dead, just yet another 4 month instance of dropping off the face of LJ. If I did die, I imagine no-one around here would notice until someone else on my flist mentioned it....)

I've actually not been on my f-list as much as I used to be, so I thought that if I missed you, it was because I wasn't here, either! In July, I was busy getting ready for Terminus. In August, I was AT Terminus and after that I was busy getting ready for my wedding in the middle of September. When I got back from the wedding, I had surgery, and we were getting ready for our wedding reception last Saturday.

So, no worries. I've been gone, too.

Work murdered me Late April - August this year rather then the usual Late April - Late June, which is good for business, but bad for my online social life since what little spare time I had went into trying to have a offline social life >_< corcalamus was in for 2 weeks at the beginning of July, and I managed to get a few days off work for that thankfully, but I certainly had no time to be online while she was here. Not gonna squander the few weeks I get with the fiance'e while I have them. When I made my post in July I thought work was slowing, but it turned out to be a brief lull before another upswing. There's been various and sunder other stuff, which all calmed down for the most part some time last month. But by then I was out of the habit of checking my flist and only today when I got an email about mistful's comprehensive PDF being posted did I finally go "Oh shit, I've not checked LJ in months!"

I'll probably be making a post later today or tomorrow on my journal, which will be totally RL stuff that I think there's a few people on the flist that might be able to help with, rather then fandom. I've noticed over the 6 years I've had this journal it's gone from being primarily fandom to primarily RL, even though my commenting is much more evenly split. Of course I make a lot fewer posts than I used to, and write far less, so that could be part of it.

Belated congrats on your wedding! I'm officially just a bit jealous. The tentative date corcalamus and I had is probably going to be pushed back which is a bit depressing, but that's what happens when plans change. I'll talk about that in the post later rather then letting this comment get any more epic then it is though.
