Smutmas - any guesses?

I was checking my friends list before bed, and a post by coffee_n_cocoa caught my eye.  She's asking people to guess what fic they THINK she wrote for Smutmas.  That intrigued me.  And then I saw other people posting lists of guesses.

So I'm curious... what do you guys think I wrote?  I'm curious to see what you guessed, and just as much, WHY.  And if you already KNOW what I wrote (because you beta'd, test-read, or live with me, you don't get to guess here.  :D

I could be completely wrong, but my guess is Just Like a Gryffindor. I've only read the first fourth or so of it because RL intervened, but I plan to finish reading it tonight, no matter who wrote it!

I just read Eclipse for the first time over the last few days. I knew that you were writing for Smutmas and was reading fics with that in mind. I read the first sentence of the fic above and immediately thought it might be you. I haven't written a review for Eclipse yet, because, honestly, I'm so moved by Eclipse I could/can't breathe. Your writing is amazing. You are amazing. I was wondering if it would be okay to email you with my thoughts on Eclipse?

LOL, I absolutely know! And I'm so sorry I haven't reviewed it yet (read it on my PDA) because it was so much fun! You wrote Vehicular Homicide. No one else could have written it. I know it was you. No arguments. :)

Why do I know? Er, the setting. And mentions of the Red Sox.

Vehicular Homicide is my guess. :-P At first I thought it was NQdonne who wrote it, because it has all of HER earmarks, including the title. Like, oh, Boston, and the criminal investigation bits, not a Ginny fan, and the Britishness - the feel and tone, despite being set in America (and the fact that it was set in America! :-P)

But then Gina commented to me that it might not be who I thought, and then another fic got posted that REALLY had NQ written all over it, and so I sat thinking, well, who the hell ELSE lives in Boston and knows it so well, because it's not Femme...

And then I remembered that you're not from Kansas. :-P And it just clicked. Yes, I'm dense. So sue me. :-P

It's okay, love. Although I will definitely have to finish reading the one you thought I wrote, just to see how it is. I've heard it's a good one. :)
