This is just too funny.  Okay, so I've seen the posts all over my f-list, and I'll admit... I haven't looked at the pics yet.  But... I was bored, waiting for my dinner to finish cooking, and scrolling through Craig's List during commercial breaks while watching Stargate SG1... and I found this:

Edit:  Okay, so I looked at the pics.  That's... interesting.  I dunno... I look at that kid and see someone who could be my little brother.  And... since when did he become a Xerox of Elijah Wood???

OMG, that's exactly what I said!!! Literally. Last night to DH. I mean, I can see sorta what people see in him. He's done a nice job on his abs, and he's lost the baby look. But those eyebrows, that wierd beard, the set of his jaw.... It's my brother! Ack! Hide my eyes! (except my brother was a line-backer so I bit heftier, broader, but you get the point.)

Iaido. Yes, Japanese swordsmanship, amongst my many MANY other interests that suck every moment of my life into a giant black hole. But... I couldn't live without all the fun things I love, so, I'm stuck.

Hehehe... I'd love to play his stunt double, but I think Dan is taller than me now, so he'd need a taller stunt double. But... I was once told by Chris Rankin (who played Percy Weasley in the movies) that some of my acting beat Dan's, hands-down. (See avatar... Percy in the background... me in the foreground, fighting Voldy.)

When you posted that you were overworked and stressed, I nearly posted a link to Heidi's journal to show these to you...
(Thankfully, he doesn't look like either of my brothers. One is balding and the other has light brown, short, spiky hair.) And yes... this year I have been comparing him to Elijah a lot. I've had it in my head to write a screenplay about two brothers who are to be played by Dan and Elijah.

On a cool note, Liz (AKA Echo, spankerella) named her puppy Draco! *squees at adorable chihuahua pup pic* Normally, I'm not fond of Chihuahuas, but the little fella kind of grows on ya.

Eclipse

I just read, as the subject suggests, Eclipse on FictionAlley. I got the recommendation from someone. I copied it to word so it would be easier to read, and when only five pages remained, I wanted to shoot myself. I nearly didn't finish it. I was cursing you blue while I tried to trick myself into believing that Draco wasn't really dead, it was a ploy, it had to be. Even if it was that, was I going to have the satisfaction of seeing them together before the end? Needless to say, I finished it but I'm still agonizing over the loose ends. In my mind, they meet up sooner rather than later and then live happily ever after. I need to believe they do. For reasons that are less fanatic fan, more personal history, I have to believe that no matter what story I read with Harry in it, whether it's Rowling's or a fanfic, that he'll make it to the end, in one piece, and will find happiness.

So, incredible job. My heart stopped so many times reading it, the longest being when their hands entwined over the portkey...
