The Witching Hour, H/D music, and all that jazz

Hello, my lovies!  I need your help!  In fact, the H/D shippers who are to attend the H/D Room of Requirement at the Witching Hour need your help!  Here's the deal... we need a soundtrack.  I'm assembling a playlist of between 40 and 50 songs which will be played during the three-hour Room of Requirement time.  So I need to know... what songs would you want?  Here are the sorts of songs I'm looking for...

~ Rock, Alternative Rock, popular songs, or any style that is generally not offensive to the ears of 18 through 30 year olds, although we WILL have some people older than that, but I'm sure they'll be quite young at heart.
~ Songs with lyrics that make you REALLY think of H/D - the ship, the dynamic between the boys, canon, or fanon.
~ Songs that remind you specifically of a popular H/D fic such that most people would "feel" the H/D reference. (If you have a fic-related song, PLEASE LIST THE FIC.)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LIST THE SONGS IN THIS FORMAT:  Song Title, artist name, (Related Fic)

I'll let you know right off the bat... I personally hate R&B, rap, and country music.  I'm sorry to say, but if you list songs in any of those styles, I don't care how "utterly perfect" you think it is... I won't use it.  I hope that doesn't offend anyone, but I'm just stating the facts.  I'm going to be spending time getting this playlist just right, and I don't want to spend the time listening to music that makes me gag.

Please list as many songs as you wish, but I'm only going to select songs for the actual CD's that really feel like they fit together, and will create the mood for the room that I want.  I want more general H/D-related songs than fic-related songs.  And please, if someone else has listed a song that you also want to list, list it again, so that I can see which songs are most popular.  I need to have this playlist ready soon.  And remember, this isn't for me... this is for all the H/D shippers who are going to be at the Witching Hour.  It's your chance to contribute in a really quick and easy way.  Thank you in advance!

Sounds good! I was going to type up a bunch of songs too, but it looks like you have more than enough to work with so I won't do that to you. ;) How goes it? Is it coming together at all?

I hope I have enough time to burn those CD's! Gah, this is gonna come down to the wire! I've got so much to do! I need to carve a new wand too. I... er... broke my last one. At the HBP book release. Very distressing.

Not to mention that you will hopefully have some insane amounts of celebrating to do in the next three days. ;)

I am ready-ish. Just need to hem my Slytherin robe and put the patch on it, make the jacket for my Beauxbatons outfit (*crosses fingers* this could get really screwed up), and a few other misc. costume things. Plus the RoR stuff and of course I then need to figure out how to get everything in my suitcase. Oh, and I need to buy shoes for my robes and maybe something sparkly for my hair for the ball. But other than that... yeah, these next five days will be busy but I think I can still do it all. Do you think they would let me off from work if I explained that I need more time to prepare for Teh Squee?

I think so. Teh Squee is muchly important, of course, and all people must respect that!

I bought new black boy-pants, new black shoes, and a new grey sweater for my Harry costume, plus yarn so my sister can make me a new Gryffindor scarf (because my old one is beat to hell). I also bought some plain t-shirts... I'm going to make some H/D and slashy t-shirts with iron-on transfers. Any brilliant ideas for t-shirt themes? And do you want one?

Oh! And I think I'll fix up my old broom. I've also made a new wand last night. I might carve a few to bring with me as gifts for people.

Actually, I think I may have to call in to work tomorrow because of my shoulder. Today was terrible. But if I do end up staying home, woe for I would simply have to work on WH projects. How sad would that be?

Making a slashy t-shirt or two was actually on my to do list, provided I can find shirts I was to customize. I'm not a huge fan of white and that's really all I'm seeing at the moment. >_< I like some of the saying that you just posted. So we'll have to see if I have time to make one or two. :)

OMGTWH!!! 4 DAYS AND I WILL BE IN BOSTON!!! EEEEEEEEEE!! :D

I am going to go take a picture of me now, before I forget, and email it to you.
