Incredible Eclipse fanart

I've been blessed. Many times over. Since posting chapter 16, I've received some beautiful and touching pieces of fanart for the chapter. Some of them have made me cry all over again. So, I have to share them with you.

First, the fantabulous, incredible, amazingly talented red_rahl has created a masterpiece. I've been following this piece of artwork since its beginnings over two weeks ago. I had given her a description of the scene without describing how the plot got to that point, and she began work. Sadly, it was only finished after the chapter was posted, but when I re-post the chapter, I shall link to this picture. Second, a couple of new artists have emerged from the woodwork. Chantelle has created two pieces, and she said she's working on a third. First, she did a fantastic wide-view of the last scene of the chapter with a wonderful and unique style. The perspective is wonderful, and the style... I love it. I absolutely love it:

And this picture reduced me to tears. So sweet, so subtle. The Chantelle's use of negative space, light/dark, and positioning are incredible, but the overall effect... like I said, it made me cry:

Third, Age_of_Pain has ventured into the world of HP art with two pieces from the chapter. The first is self-explanitory, and the choice of quotes definitely hit me hard, in a good way:

The second, in the words of the artist: "It's my interpretation of the moment of the eclipse and is therefore possibly one of Draco's last sights. And if your're wondering, the moon is meant to look like a snakish red eye, for reasons you can probably guess."

Finally, I got a fan-poem! It's definitely something I've never gotten before, but oooh, it's just so uniquique and cool! The following poem is by Carolyn:
The eclipse of the moon
Eclipsed the love in my heart
I knew not what he truly meant to me
Until he was gone
Deep down
I know it was for the good of the world
But for once
I would like to be selfish
For once
I want to just give into my desires
But no
He would taint it
Twist it beyond recognition
He has already done so
To too many things in my life

So, my immense thanks to all four artists for their talents and time!  The time and efforts were very touching, and I can't quite put to words what it means to me for someone to have done something like this for my little fanfic.  Thank you.

The thing I get most trouble with, while translating, is the existence of two forms of second person pronoun in Russian - the formal-polite and the informal-close (used also in mocking, disparaging speech). I supposed that Lucius uses both forms towards Harry, the formal-polite when he calls him "Mr.Potter", although mockingly, and the informal in all other cases. And Harry mirrors his form of addressing.

I have started translating the third chapter. Trying to feel and understand your text from the inside brings me much joy. Really :)

Awww, thank you! I can't understand a word of the translation, but I'm sure that you've done as close to perfect of a job as you possibly can. Also, if some of the jokes and phrases in English don't make sense in Russian, feel free to alter the jokes so that they make sense. *hugs you* You're incredible, has anyone ever told you that?

Um, the several hundreds of penguins that live w/ us...not real ones, but they all have personalities. They really enjoy hp fanfiction - harry and draco are the faves...I appreciate that may not make sense...but we all do appreciate your work!
