Star Trek Mini Meetup Fun!

mizuno_caitlin and I met up with ruisseau at tje Javanaut coffee house on 39th street.
Later,mizuno_caitlin and I joined coldfireserge at the Crown Center ice skating rink, where a large gaggle of people from NakaKon planning (that's a local anime convention) had invaded the ice skating rink. One of the newest members of the group, eddieblackmaru , was actually there, having no prior knowledge that we were showing up. So she hung out with us, and that was awesome.
After ice skating, we stopped by my friend Paul's workplace to say hi - he's one of us, but isn't online, but you bb's will meet him at upcoming meetups, I do hope. He's awesome.mizuno_caitlin , coldfireserge , and I converged back at my house, where we were later joined by Paul, and we had Chinese food, lots of tea, and talked meta, canon, actors, and many other forms of geekery until something like 2:00 AM. The laptops came out. Silliness was shared. For not being a "real" meetup, we had a good time.
