Siriusly Wet Dog

It's springtime... time to clean out the bats in the bellfry, the cobwebs in the closet, the doxies in the curtains... and oh yeah, time to wash the resident Animagus.  When we release the beast from the bathtub, she makes a beeline for the blanket we lay out on the living room floor.  Self-drying mode sets in, and she does a fine job of it... rather cute.  I thought I'd share.  Her antics are quite amusing.  :D

I read Not a Love Poem, not Liaison though, because I'm not into threesome fics with H/D in it (yet). I prefer just the two of them. I am sure I will get over that when I'm completely out of fic to read. :P

The threesome is actually more about H/D. The dynamic isn't a normal threesome... Harry and Draco are the two who want each other... and Severus acts as a Liaison, hence the title. Try it? *puppy-dog eyes*

Black lab with a bit of German Shepherd. You can see the shepherd by the pointy ears. She looks like a goofy black wolf, or (as you said) a silly Sirius. :D

Awww, lab/shepards are my favorite! I work at a humane society and they come in a lot. But none are as cute as Rascal, I swear.

I'm glad to know my dogs aren't the only ones who use the self drying method, although they generally find the one area that I don't want them to 'self-dry' on (such as my bed). And I love that you still call an eight year old dog your puppy because my nine year old lab would be very offended if I ever said he wasn't a puppy anymore :) Anyway, very adorable 'puppy!'

*grins* Well, it took us a long time to train her out of "self-drying" on the couch. As for the beds... we learned the hard way to close the bedroom doors. :D And yes, labradors are DEFINITELY still puppies, infinitely.

No problem! Rascal has a few white hairs, but mostly along her stomach, and a few on the backs of her hind legs. I think it's the German Shepherd pattern showing through. They're such a cute breed-mix! :D

Your dog is adorable! She reminds me of my Zoey...is she a shepherd mix? Oh by the way, I just stopped in your LJ from fictionalley. You recommended me your fic, Eclipse and Only Your Shadow. Might I say that your fiction is absolutely lovely...I had found Only Your Shadow a few months ago and loved it to pieces...I am obsessed with Eclipse. All puppies are cute! (I've been watching the Great Outdoor Games today... lotsa doggies!) *hugs* How have you been? I was thinking about you last night, actually! Kris, who is another Boston area H/D shipper, and I were walking through the part of Boston where we were walking around sunrise the morning after the PoA premiere. I was telling Kris about the whole thing, and how I was still in that riddiculous costume.

By the way, I was hoping to organize a Boston area HP fan get-together in a few weeks to discuss the aftermath of HBP. Are you interested? :D
