I'm at work, I'm doing fucking INVENTORIES, and I really, really, really, REALLY just want to play with fanfic discussion.  And then, I saw this meme on affectingly 's LJ.  PLAY WITH ME!  Do the meme!  DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

The DVD Commentary Meme:
Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any fanfic I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

Already clean. Acid and silver chloride, plus a few other lovely things. Old-fashioned film developer system was leaking, and a bunch of facilities guys went to move it without notifying our department. The part that actually pisses me off is that they were going to just put it in the regular trash that goes to the landfill. That shit's toxic! We have systems for handling those chemicals, and these idiots were just gonna trash it.

Don't worry, I didn't get any in my hair. :p

Although I must admit, I DO always get a bit of a thrill rushing through campus with my emergency response kit, looking all important and save-the-day-ish. :D
