I belive the appropriate question right now would be:

"Who's YOUR daddy?"

Don't despair, Skankees fans.  There's always next year.

Nah.

Sunday, they were three outs from wrapping up a four-game sweep. Monday, they were two innings from spanking the Red Sox again. Tuesday, they had the pennant-clinching run at home plate in the ninth inning.

And Wednesday night, "Who's Your Daddy?'' T-shirts went on sale for half-price.

Heeheehee. :D :D

In hindsight, perhaps it was a mistake for the Yankees to raise a "Mission Accomplished" banner above their dugout after Game 3.

Did this actually happen?! Idiots! That's just asking for your team to be jinxed! Oh, but wait: they don't know about that sort of thing; they're too used to buying their luck. *feels vindictively justified*

That is SOOOO funny! Did they REALLY have a "mission accomplished" banner over their dugout, or was that just figurative? If they were actually THAT stupid, I REALLY need to see a picture of that. That's too damn funny.

I don't know either! I haven't had a chance yet to really look for pictures, though. Perhaps I will this weekend, after my exams.

Also, one more thing: you know Yogi Berra? The guy who said "It ain't over till it's over?" Yeah. He left in the seventh. :D

P, I am feeling mighty english right now, you know? Remember how they used to have the saying 'the sun never sets on the Empire' or however it exactly went? The sun just went down...

I will say that yourteamwhoIcannotmentioningoodfaith played very well, however I will be throwing my support behind the winner of tonight's game even though I despise both the Cards and 'stros.

*smacks that ass*

Ahhh, my dear En. The sun has indeed set. As a True Sox Fan, I can honestly say that even after the first three games of the series, I wasn't worried. Sometimes, you just get that unshakable good feeling about something... and whadaya know? You're right! Well... that would be "I'm right," along with the rest of Red Sox nation.

I have three words for you:
Told. You. So.

:D

I think my favorite part was when half the Yankee fans left the stadium in disgust and they kept showing cheerful Red Sox fans surrounded by empty seats.

Well, actually, my favorite favorie part was when Johnny Damon hit a grand slam. But the other thing was good too.

Oooh yes, that was *verrrry* good. I think my favourite part though was watching them all jump around on the infield like maniacs, hugging and screaming and generally celebrating, while the Skankees sullenly withdrew to the locker rooms.
