Title: Portrait of CMO McCoy
Artist:
mijan
Rating: G
Warnings: Deeply furrowed eyebrows of doom. :D
Fandom: Star Trek ST:XI
Character: Leonard "Bones" McCoy
Medium: Mechanical pencil and computer printer paper
Notes: I drew this at lunch, while looking for Star Trek photos to caption. I kept seeing the picture of McCoy looking pensive, and decided to sketch it into a portrait. I haven't drawn portraits in a few years, so I'm rusty, but it feels good to try my hand at this again. I might try to do more. :)

I'm not very good, at least, not like some of the fanartists, and I only really did art to illustrate my own H/D fanfic. And I used to do a lot of art when I was younger. Almost went to art school, but I wanted to be a doctor, so I went for my biology degree. Kinda stopped drawing for a while. But... I was sitting at my desk today and got inspired by some of the Trek pics I saw. So, I grabbed a sheet of computer paper and a mechanical pencil and went to town. I hope it's decent. *wibbles*
I want to keep practicing, but I don't want to neglect fanfic. I'm busy writing a Trek/Potter crossover right now, on a dare. Draco/Chekov, canon-compliant. I'm insane. *Grins*
