loves Quantum Leap and Futurama! I have all the seasons of futurama and now I want to see if Quantum Leap is on DVD. I bet it is a bit dated, but would be great to rewatch now that I am an adult.

I used to love Quantum Leap. I miss it. I should rent the series, too, if I can find it. I wonder if it's on Netflicks.

Aww! I love your list! Especially the shows Joss Whedon has done! hehe. Yeah I'm a HUGE fan of Firefly, I have a tattoo of Serenity on my back. Not the ship itself, just the symbol thats on the side of the ship. So what do you think of the series so far? Make sure though, whatever you do, WATCH THE MOVIE AFTER YOU FINISH THE SERIES! Don't worry, your not such a geek. I mean, a couple of us are getting together at the end of the month to have a mini Joss con at a friends house. We're having roundtables and midnight showings of the Buffy musical and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Now WE are geeks.

Uh, I've only watched a few episodes of Firefly. Someone tried to get me into it by showing me the Serenity movie a couple of years ago, and I didn't much care for it, so you're too late on that.

But why would I worry about being a geek? Diminishing my claim to geekdom is an insult! You can't take my geek from me. I am a complete an utter geek. I go to conventions. I dress in costumes. I COMPETE in costuming. I can quote Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. I've read Trek novels. I can discuss the Star Wars extended universe (EU) in detail. I bounce with excitement waiting for episodes of Doctor Who to download. I speak in LOLcat. I use a sonic screwdriver pen... at work... and I play with the light and sound functions to confuse the Muggles. I refer to non-geeks as Muggles. My first vanity plate read "MYXWING", and my more recent ones said "GRYFNDR" and "GRFNDOR". My wife's license plate says "SLYTHRN" as inspired by my car. We host Harry Potter meetups with other regional fans, complete with drabbling and drawbling and pr0n. In the room where I'm sitting, I can look around and see a Harry Potter tapestry on one wall, a pirate map on another wall, a map of Rohan in a frame on the other side of the room, two complete sets of the Harry Potter books (US and UK versions), a Jedi Academy banner, and seven or eight registration badges on lanyards from various conventions... complete with buttons and bling.

Trust me, I'm an uber geek. Uber uber geek...
