"Eclipse" sequel, "Convergence", chapter 1 is posted.

So, after far too long in waiting, the first chapter of "Convergence" has been posted.  The title of the chapter is "Reunion".

Fic summary:
Everything should have been perfect, but life never is. When Draco is faced with the choice between what is right and what is easy, he risks losing everything – Harry, the war, and even himself. Despite the warnings and the risks, Harry isn't about to give up on the boy who was once willing to die to save him. However, what Harry doesn't know and what Draco can't remember may destroy them both. (The sequel to "Eclipse"; HP/DM)

Before you read the fic, you must read the Author's Notes (which didn't make it through a glitch in the FA upload process):

1. If you haven't read "Eclipse", this fic will make no sense.  The events of "Convergence" begin one month after the end of "Eclipse.

2.  The epilogue to "Eclipse" has been DELETED.  That piece of writing was used as the starting point for this fic, but it was modified.  The original epilogue did not follow my plans for the overall plot.  I admit, I got carried away, and this is getting the plot back on track.

3.  This is a 6th-year fic based on canon up to and including OotP.  Some elements of canon from HBP are integrated into this fic, but in this timeline, events deviated from official canon after OotP.

i just hate reading something really good and then finishing it...it's terrible.
Especially, after a really good story you just can't deal with normal fanfic.
The storyline is never as entertaining....character say stuff or react like they would never do in character and you're just not really satisfied anymore. Even bored!
That's why i'm jumping at the chance that "maybe" you will continue that beautiful story!
That i can suffer with Harry and Draco, that you can break and heal my heart with theirs...

Because i remember, when i read your story for the first time the last chapter has been "and straight on 'till morning"...i cried...oh my god. That was the only time i ever cried while reading a fanfic...so if that's not a compliment then i can tell you what is!!!

Hi! I know it's been three years, but I'm dying to know what happens next! Why is Draco being so cruel? Will he and Harry make up? I feel so heartbroken for Harry, and I'm worried I'll never stop wondering. Please, please continue with this fic!

Hi, I hate to say it, but it's unlikely that I'll go back and finish this story. I have so many other things I want to write, and I've kinda dropped out of the Harry Potter fandom. I might try to write a plot summary of this one eventually, but really, I don't think I'll ever properly finish it. I'm sorry.

I'd really rather not. I mean, I can't stop someone from doing that, as I have no copyright, but I'd really rather they not. I'll think about it, though. I'd have to know them well, and know their writing style.
