Sorry for the CAPS, but I needed your attention.  We need to see just how many LJ's out there are fandom LJ's.  There are 13 million LJ accounts.  Time to see how many of us are fandom.

Thanks for posting this. Not everyone has a friends list where news of this has reached yet. I checked my LJ after a two day hiatus to discover that the fandoms had exploded.

By the way, I can't remember if you speak French too, or it's just your screen name, but would you care to help translate the "mission statement" from the fandom_counts profile page? They're translating it into as many languages as possible, and while I can read French fairly well, and I understand the spoken language with fair competance, my spelling is miserable. I'd ask my mom to help translate, but right now, she's actually in France. *meep*

I took french in high school, and it's been to many years to have nice spelling or grammar. My limit is making a lame joke, like... qu'est-ce qu'il y a dans ta pantalon, une surpise cadaeu? pour moi?

But I'm not 100% I did that correctly.

I'm actually going to try taking it again this coming fall. Keep your fingers crossed for my poor American brain which seems to only want one language in it. ^_~
