I'm surprised and flattered that you kept reading, even though BDSM isn't your thing. The thing is, BDSM is NOT just about "how much pain can I inflict?". It's very much about a partnership, and two people giving and taking from each other what they need. Pain CAN be involved, but not necessarily. It really irritates me to see BDSM in fanfics done unrealistically and poorly. Sure, it's fiction, and there's a fantasy element that means you can push things further and differently than you do in real life, but... I'd rather keep it real. A scene does NOT always go 100% smoothly. Sometimes, scenes end in a safeword, and that's NOT a good thing. So... yeah. Thank you for reading! :D
