This is wonderful. Your sense of characterization and pacing are fantastic, and I'm delighted, thrilled, excited (!) that this story fits in to the universe you created in And All The King's Men (which is truly one of my favourite stories in this fandom).
I love that you're working to fill in the blanks and clarify plot holes. I know already that this is more canon for me... Lovely, thought-provoking, character-heavy canon -- woohoo!
