urgh I hear you on the BC glasses. I wore 'em through boot camp as well and they sucked. I got Lasik 6 years ago. Best self bday present ever! I have astigmatism in my left eye and was still able to get Lasik. It basically gave me vision as well as I saw out of it with glasses. Didn't fix it 100% but I can see the stars, and leaves on trees.
