I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror, and realized that my eyebrows are thick enough to get bed-head.

I personally think that's kinda awesome.  I love my fuzzy eyebrows.  I have traumatic memories of the J.V. girls' basketball team deciding I needed a makeover, and attacking my eyebrows with tweezers.  HORRORS.  And fucking painful.  So I decided to embrace my epically hirsute supra-orbital arches.  So yeah, my eyebrows had bed-head.

I told my wife, and she sporfled, and insisted that I post it on my LJ.  So there you go.

I will admit, getting one's eyebrows waxed does kind of sting like a bitch. (I will not let tweezers anywhere near them, thank you.) On the other hand I am kind of a complete girly girl sometimes, and I admire anyone willing to allow their eyebrows to reach au naturel bushiness.

I've gotten mine waxed before for specific things. A girly costume I was competing in, a formal event, an audition. But generally, I love my natural eyebrows, and happily set them free to be themselves. No wax-based torture needed. :D

My eyebrows totally get bed head. I'd worry about it more, except that they're blond and people can't tell when I DO pluck them, so why bother? I'm just gonna end up old and hairy like my dad, I'm pretty sure.

Lucky you, having them blond! So much you can just ignore! Granted, I could bleach my eyebrows, but that would look insanely stupid on me.

But yay for eyebrow bed-head!

Oh come on now. I hate pictures 90% of the time, and certainly not before a morning shower!

I'm very very not-hairy in general (enough that I have never needed to tweeze mine ever) and mine get bed-head if I'm not careful.

It looks really silly when 5 or 6 hairs are sticking out straight so I use vitamin E oil on them.

What I want to know is, did you get back with whose abusive girls back in high school?

I never got back at the girls in high school... other than the fact that I've moved on to bigger and better things... and most of them are still trapped in pitiful small-town existence. What better revenge do I need?

my husband's eyebrows will do that from time to time. I call them his eye-yi-yi-brows.

My husband's eyebrows look like he has curb feelers.

LOL, that describes my eyebrows almost all the time. (Once in a while, the woman who cuts my hair trims them. Not tweezes--just trims enough hairs shorter that, well, no bed-head. Somewhat more often, I use the same stuff that tames my hair in the morning on the brows. Most of the time, I worry that I should tweeze them, but I never do.)

(And I'm really sorry we never connected at Arisia; I'd have liked to chat again.)

Don't bother tweezing them. Revel in the epic awesomeness of your eyebrows. :D

Also, I didn't connect with a lot of the people I wanted to see at Arisia. I was having a bit of a flare up with my health issues, and spent a lot of spare time between panels and events resting. I wasn't my usual social butterfly self. Next year, I promise. :D

I'm tired, so I read that first sentence as "my eyebrows are thick enough to beta read," and my first thought was, "I could do that." I think it's time to sleep. :)

I have to tweeze my eyebrows, which doesn't really bother me. What DOES bother me is having to pluck the hairs that have decided to grow out of my chin! :P

I can see why that could be troublesome. :/

I've got a couple that grow from a mole on the side of my face, and no matter how many times I yank them, they come back. I refuse to mutilate my eyebrows, but those two mole-hairs... RAAAAAAGE!!!

LOL! Exactly! It doesn't matter how many times I pluck them, they keep coming back. ARGH. It's kinda funny, because I had an older lady warn me once that if I plucked my eyebrows too much, they would not grow back. So why doesn't that happen with the OTHER hairs?!

I can't really tell anything about my eyebrows except that I have some. If I ever have eyebrow bed-head, nobody has mentioned it. That might mean that I don't get it, but it seems a lot more likely that my actual bed-head is so wildly impressive that, faced with it, nobody could pay any damn attention to my eyebrows. I have EPIC bed-head.

Epic bed-head is awesome. I would happily ruffle your epic bed-head. *innocent grin*

I wouldn't have noticed the eyebrow bed-head, except I've been having problems with my eyelids swelling up, so when I got up, they felt swollen, so looked closely in the mirror, and in doing so, I observed the source of amusement that is bed-head-eyebrows.

Embrace your big eyebrows! I blow raspberries at anybody who tells me to pluck mine. We'd look weirder without any eyebrows at all, right?

There's nothing wrong with fuzzy eyebrows. As I tell people all the time, "Embrace how mother nature made you, not how society wants you to be." :)

Indeed. I very much like my eyebrows, and am comfortable with them. I don't have a uni-brow, but I do have nice thick eyebrows. I think they look pretty good.
