Hee. I took that quiz ages and ages ago - wound up pretty equal parts Picard, Troi, Bones, and Beverly. The last three I expected. The first I did not. I mean LOLWUT?

My mind, it boggles. ;)

I told the thing I'd taken the Hippocratic Oath, not because I have but because I like it and it's similar enough, I decided, to the American Librarian Association's Code of Ethics. Which is cheating a little, perhaps.

I also have a nice speaking voice (Picard), empathy and a fondness for chocolate (Troi), frequently take messages for people (Uhura), and have low self-esteem (the poor expendable character, I assume).

Anyway, that's my theory.

I took an oath of enlistment, and an oath when I was commissioned as an officer. I've taken a PERSONAL oath to "do no harm," but that's more spiritual. But it still has the same effect. So for that question, I clicked the middle button, not either end.

See, with the "low self-esteem," my brain immediately went to Lieutenant Barkley from TNG. I always loved episodes with that guy.

I thought of Barclay too! I guess he's too minor a character to make the list. I liked him as well.

All I knew, as I was answering questions, was that I was not getting Sulu. I love the guy, but we have nothing in common it would seem. Plants die when I touch them.

Aaah, see, with Sulu... I did martial arts, including a form of Japanese swordsmanship... and I did a LOT of botany. I can grow anything. So... I've got a few things in common with the character. If only I could say "oh my" with that voice. ;)
