Star Trek Big Bang is about to crash-land!

Hello fellow Trekkies! 

I know a bunch of folks who follow my LJ are here because of my fanfic.  So... hi, everybody! 

 As you might know, the Star Trek Big Bang fics are about to start being posted.  We're not allowed to tell you too much about the posting schedule, allegedly, but I think people deserve a fair warning, if I can give it ahead of time. 

First, I'm posting later in the cycle.  Almost a month away.  Sorry about that, folks, but I NEEDED the extra time, just in case I had complications after surgery.  I'm actually almost on track to post early, but really, it's better that I wasn't stressing about it.  I'm working on my final edits now.

Second, THIS IS A SEQUEL.  That's right, my big bang fic this year is a sequel, specifically to "And All the King's Men," which was my Big Bang fic from last year.  If you want to read my big bang fic this year, I highly recommend going back and reading AAtKM first.  Yes, you'd be able to follow this year's story without last year's... but it helps to understand some of the character development, and to know who a couple of the OC's are.  Besides, if you want to read my stuff this year, why the hell wouldn't you want to read my stuff from last year?  It all goes together!  Right?  Er... yes?  *puppy eyes*  Besides, it will keep you busy while you wait for my new fic to get posted.  Logic!

Third, this fic is over 125,000 words long.  Yeah, it's a novel.  I hope the excitement lives up to the word count.  It's posting on a Saturday, so that gives you a weekend to kick back and relax while you read.  Hope you enjoy it!

Heee! Do you enjoy reading fanfiction? Like I said, the first story in the series is already posted. In fact, I've got two stories in this series posted. They're on my Masterlist. "Convergence" and "And All the King's Men." Both available for reading anytime. :)

LOL... sadly, I wouldn't have the time to even get started. I've got too much work to do (the real-life shit, sadly), and then I've got to finish editing my Big Bang fic for this year. But I guarantee that once I catch a break, I'll probably waste a few evenings playing around.

Yay! A sequel! *bounces* I'm so excited! (btw, i hurt my finger at work last night and two fingers are taped together, if there's major weirdness in the spelling and such, that's why..apologies..)

I'm attempting nanowrimo next month, i may not finish, nov is a busy month, with my birthday and the holidays coming up. But i'll try. i also signed up for a prompt at space_wrapped, the K/M advent calendar. I'm going to try to pick a late posting date for that, i know me. LOL. I have an unfinished intro from last year that i might be able to use for this year.

Relax, cupcake my dear, the fingers aren't nothing serious. I jammed my left ring finger opening the ice bin at work. I have injured/sprained that finger severely twice before, so even a little ouch hurts fierce on that hand. Give it a couple days, it'll be good as new. Just now, I'm a tad hurting. and having it taped not only affects my typing, but apparently it's a connection to my brain to not type coherently. I don't get it. I seen in this entry it was reaaallly long. YAY! *\o/* And can you believe I'm geeking about Trekfest already? It's because I was having a bad day yesterday and I was kinda daydreaming about it.. I need a vacation, stat! &hearts

I love both Convergence and All the Kings Men. A novel length sequel is very happy making. I fully intend to use it as a weekend treat and a reward for completing that week's assignments. It is nice to have something to look forward to. :)
