I usually don't do memes like this.  I sometimes feel like I'm being greedy or fishing by asking people to comment.

However, I am highly stressed out about my Star Trek big bang fic, I'm stressed about the prep-work I still need to do for Dragon*Con, I'm nervous as hell about the audition this weekend (for which I am NOT ready), I'm exhausted to the point of bone-weary aches due to too many things going on ALL AT ONCE OMG, and I need some love.

First of all, I have it on the highest authority that your Big Bang fic is made of win. And will keep your readers on the edge of their seats. And beautifully written to boot. So keep chuggin' along on it.

Second, regarding all the wonderful upcoming things you have on your plate, my advice is: breathe and just relax a bit. You won't ever get everything done, so stop trying. Just enjoy the ride a little bit. You have so much energy and enthusiasm, and that is a gift.

Third, since you're new to it I'll just let you in on a secret: the upcoming decade is the beginning of a woman's prime. Things only get better from here on in, although it's often in unexpected ways. So be on the lookout for fabulous surprises as you're whizzing along.

Also, my advice: don't panic. Srsly. And, bb, I don't need a meme to tell you how awesome you are at writing. Your plots are rich and detailed; your characterisation is spot-on and so complex. You have your own style, but you're so good at taking on criticism that I am majorly jealous.

... I'd say yes, because I'm going to GET TO IT AT SOME POINT, butttttt, tomorrow I'm busy all day, Thursday is Results Day, so I'm going to be staggeringly drunk whatever happens, and then Saturday I'm going away again. Local theatre is putting on a production of RENT. I want to audition. I desperately need to pick an audition piece (need 32 bars), with piano sheet music, and be ready by this weekend. Any suggestions?

This is true, and you'd be great at any of the roles. I'm not entirely sure how this company does their auditions - I do know it's sort of a popular thing to audition with non-Broadway songs for RENT. Whether or not they uphold this tradition, I don't know xD

Life is dynamic and stressful--don't let it get to you, cuz it's better than the alternative. You write so beautifully, expressively, and resonantly in the Trek universes. I love your writing and keep rereading it. I had to look up In Perfect Trust since I didn't find it on your Trek master fic list, but I'm happy you didn't take it down. And of course, AAtKM is just such a favorite of mine. Mostly I lurk and read, and don't do LJ, so I rarely comment, so thanks for allowing anonymous posts.

I hope your big writing project is another Trek piece; I don't branch out much at all into other fandoms. I can't wait to read more of your writing in that 'verse. (Happy anticipatory fangirl sqeeing...)

Yes, I'm working on another Star Trek piece. In fact, it's the sequel to AAtKM, and I'll be posting it with this year's Star Trek Big Bang challenge. I hope you'll like this one, too!
