I was very pleased with how much fun their panel was. They really are very close friends, and it shows with how they play off each other.
I must admit, I'm kinda jealous of people who live in the UK; it's seems like such an awesome place to live. But you're right - Americans DO get access to a lot of events and such. Still, remember that I had to travel over 2,000 kilometers to go to this convention, so just because it's in the same country doesn't mean it's close or convenient.
