That was fun. I wavered between heteroflexible and I define myself for a bit before going with the latter. I'll notice other females and that they're attractive, but it's a bit like my like for abstract art. I notice and pay momentary attention to it, but it would take something/someone exceptional to actually hold my attention beyond an initial acknowledgment. It's not impossible, just improbable. :)
The gender questions made me smile. I'm rather tomboyish in some ways, but that's more because my Grandfather was the one who looked after me while my Mom and grandma worked. His idea of entertainment for a kid were regular treks to the local hardware stores and building pigeon and rabbit traps (non-lethal, so they could be kept as pets) as well as any other construction projects that were handy. Dresses and other fancy clothes either didn't survive the construction projects or could get you injured, so I came to dislike wearing them.
I read slash mainly because the mainstream het romance books bore me to death. I don't like being able to figure out the plot and sequence of events less than 30 pages in.
