Red Sox: WORLD CHAMPIONS!
Oct. 28th, 2004 12:03 amSWEET CAROLINE! BAH! BAH! BAH!
Good times NEVER seemed so GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD!
The Red Sox have done it! Under the faint crimson glow of a full lunar eclipse, no less.
Is it a sign of the Apocolypse? Has Hell really frozen over?

Date: 2004-10-28 07:12 am (UTC)Although my sister did call me up to say goodbye forever, because according to her the Book of Revelations lists these exact conditions as being signs of the Apocalypse: "When the Sox of Red winneth the World Series and the moon beith as red as blood..."
I sense the dawning of a new era. One in which the ex-cursed Red Sox no longer lose to the Yankees.
My comments are making no sense right now, I'm still too much in happy shock.

Date: 2004-10-28 08:59 am (UTC)Oh, and not only was this on the night of a total lunar eclipse, and not only were there a million other bizarre numerical signs and whatnot, but this was also the 100th World Series. AND WE SWEPT IT! Yes, this is most definately the dawning of a new era. :D
