Fanfic Reading

I'm going to a convention in Boston next weekend. At that convention, I'm going to be on several panes, but in addition to that, I'm doing a fanfiction reading. Yep, people are going to listen to me while I read my fanfic. Why would anyone want to do that?

So, I have 25 minutes in which to present a group of listeners with the best possible selection of my writing that I can read in that 25-minute window.

SUGGESTIONS???

I wondered if that was the one, a couple other people on my flist are heading there.

I haven't really read much of your Trek stuff, so focusing on HP and the time limit... I'd put a vote in for excerpts from Stop the World and Only Your Shadow. Amongst your shorter stories I found both of those to be stories good at pulling out a reaction, but they pull out some very different reactions, thus highlighting two different sections of the emotional spectrum.

I've been hearing good things about it lately, so I'll certainly have to keep it in mind. It wouldn't be any time soon, as I moved over to the UK last summer, but I do have friends in Boston that I want to visit there some day. I'm planning to do a visit to San Diego in the future to visit friends/family near there in conjunction to ComicCon, so timing the visit to Boston with Arisia would be a possibility as well, especially since Trans-Atlantic airfare is generally cheaper in the winter. :)
