Cosplay pics!

From the recent parties and events, I've done some cosplay as everyone's favorite 23rd Century doctor, Leonard McCoy, a.k.a. "Bones".  I got a good set of pics, including several of me spinning fire while in costume.  I was working with facial expressions and mannerisms.  I like to really get my characters down when I cosplay.  What do you think?

More playing with facial expressions.  I like this one.  I was kinda surprised, but then, who ever sees their own profile view?  I seriously am not sure what I look like from the side.



This one was an impromptu snapshot taken by my friend, but because I stay in character whenever I cosplay, even when not intending to take photos, this one really came out well.  I'm pleased!

Impressive fire-spinning, and you look very Bones-y. Wonderful costume and fitting "facial expressions" :)

Hehe... I had fun! And thank you - I really try to get cosplay as accurate as I can. Bones is the character I've played who is the biggest stretch for me. I'm short, he's tall, and I've got the least physical resemblance to him of any of the characters I've played so far. But... he's SO MUCH FUN TO PLAY!!! And the flask is fun, too. :D

And I'd only spun fire once before that night, so I was really excited for the change to do it, and in a costume, no less! Made me glad I'd opted NOT to wear Harry Potter or Frodo, as the cloaks and robes would have made spinning impossible.
