I feel like I should explain how I ended up on your DW. Following LJ's problems yesterday, I wandered over to my DW account for something to do. After searching for accounts with kirk/mccoy interest, I came across yours. Since I love your stories, I thought I would do some reading here, but before I could do that, I noticed your entry about meeting Shatner and then today, I noticed this one.
Can I just say thank you so much for posting that so people could read it? That whole experience of meeting him, asking that fantastic question and getting him to open up like that gave me a thrill to read. It gave me another perspective of the man behind the role. I also think that you gave him a perspective about the role and what it meant to fans everywhere in a way that he has never experienced before.
I've never been able to attend a convention, but I felt like I had been there through what you reported here. I love the questions you came up with. They are unique and thought provoking.
And congratulations on your pitch! You definitely come up creative and unique story ideas!
Star Trek influenced the formation of my value system back in the days of my adolescence, and it has remained an important part of my life for the past four decades. It sounds like it has held an important role in your life, which explains why you write with the passion that you do.
Thank you for posting this and sharing it with others.
