What a lovely and touching fic!Thoroughly enjoyed it, and even with the colony sequence/stuff happening outside the Enterprise it still kept a sort of intimacy. I also like this take on Tarsus: Jim isn't just blocking out the experience but doing things in response to it, as well as showing that he's able to take care of his own past.
