I wanted it to be only semi-ambiguous to the readers from the beginning that this fic was about Tarsus IV. I figured some would see it right away, and some wouldn't get it until I made it blatantly obvious with the "starving children on other planets" comment. Either way, I'm glad you like how it worked out! :)
