Hello again. In this my third read through of this fine tale I am enjoying it just as much as the first time around, and perhaps more than the second time, mostly because I think that I have worked out how to join in and make a "comment" entry (I hope).
I want to say (again) thank you for writing and sharing such a fine story. I think that the way that you have expanded upon the 2009 screenplay does the original storyline credit, and I applaud your talent at original dialogue to create more rounded characters and give us some longed for story elements in this your version of events!

And of course, the interaction between Commander Toland and Captain Pike is just golden. I am a fan, and as I have already had the pleasure of enjoying reading your epic "AAtKM", I now recall her presence there as well if I am not mistaken.
