THE SHAT... is in town.

Okay, so I just got an inside scoop that William Shatner is currently in town, in Kansas City. I know where he's going to be... and it's less than 5 miles from my house. If you were me... would you go? It's a public event, and yes, it would be something I'd have an interest in doing on my own. But this event is NOT Star Trek related. Not at all. He's not in a "public appearance" of any sort.

I don't want to be weird, but... but... SHIT, it's the SHAT.

My biggest concern about these things is other fans giving me the motts (secondhand embarrassment) by making it about their fannish interest. But yes. It's The Shat. Go.
